It appears things are moving slowly this year. Filing opens Jan 23rd. I remember when you could file as soon as the 10th. Whether you have your documents or not. You still can’t efile yet. You can have them prepared and sent in a batch when the 23rd arrives. Either way you are going to have to wait ! Try to be as thorough as you can. The last thing you want is to pay another fee to amend your tax return ! Remember huge refunds are almost extinct for the working class, childless person. Make sure you are getting all credits you are entitled to.. Every little bit helps. Don’t throw away money with rapid refund or pay $369 for a basic tax return. That pricing is disgusting ! Try a small local business owner. That’s the best decision you can make.
